Not a real blog, but I couldn't resist!

Comment with your name and I will answer the following about you (if I can)

1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you which song or movie you remind me of.
3. I'll pick the flavor of ice cream that best suits you.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. (If possible. If not, I'll say something that only makes sense to me.)
5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you.
8. I'll tell you my favorite thing about you.
9. I'll tell you my least favorite thing about you.
10. If you play, you MUST post this on yours.

2. Fidelity - Regina Spektor. Upbeat but with depth and emotion. Listen to it and tell me if you agree. Or maybe Philosophy by Ben Folds
3. Vanilla Fudge Ripple .. because it's vanilla with an awesome twist
4. You betcha.
5. The day I came in for my interview you were sitting at the children's desk on the far side. I don't even remember noticing you were pregnant! I was a bit nervous.
6. fox, because you are clever and sneaky lol? that's a hard question!
7. Have your life goals changed since you had kids?
8. You are so easy to talk to, I love working with you.
9. That I haven't known you very long! We could've been friends forever, I think.

I'm going to post this about YOU on your own blog.. How about that for taking the rules and turning them upside down!

1. YOU have an awesome lunch pail. =)
2. This is a hard one.. I was thinking some Ben Folds as well, but I can't choose a proper song.. Perhaps Alice Childress.. Hmm.. More thought later.
3. I was thinking like Strawberry Cheesecake.. The cheesecake is like delicious comfort food and the fruit is a colorful addition to the already rocking dessert.
4. Daddy? Daddy?
5. I remember you coming in for your interview... I have this fierce competitive nature, so I thought, bring it.. But then once the interview was over, I was excited to hear that you're super creative and musical... It gave me hope that good people WILL apply for this job!
6. Peacock: You're so colorful and beautiful!
7. Do you ever wish that you didn't move up here to Joplin?
8. YOU are so easy to talk to and the only other person at work that I can discuss politics and world issues with.. Oh, and I love that you love to read AND you like different books then I do.. So we can share some books, and have different opinions about others.
9. That I haven't been able to spend any time outside of work getting to know you! These kids, I tell you what!

And to answer your question, yes, my life goals have changed a lot since I've had kids, but strangely, the went back to what I originally wanted to do when I started college and in high school. I thought I wanted to be a music teacher, so I went to college for Music Ed. Then, my voice teacher kept telling me that I should really switch to performance so that I could move on and get my Master's in performance and be a college teacher (or perform.) So, I did and entered this world of thinking I was going to be an opera singer or college teacher. Then I got pregnant, and I was essentially, screwed. You can't do anything with a performance bachelors, so I started working here, which I'm so happy that I did. Now I feel like I still have this musical drive and I would love to go back and finish my education degree. So, it's been kind of a circle for me, but all good. I wouldn't change a thing about my life.. otherwise, I wouldn't be here!
